What is the brightest red? This page gives you some examples, including hex, rgb, cmy color codes and color palettes.

What is the brightest red.

The purist red on the RGB color scale has a hex code of #FF0000. Its RGB color values are red 255, green 0, blue 0. So, red is maxed out, and not the slightest hint of green and blue is included. CMY cyan 0 magenta 99 yellow 100.

Neon red is one of the brightest versions of red. Its hex code is #FF2F2F. Its RGB values are red 255, green 47, and blue 47. CMY cyan 0 magenta 93 yellow 85.

Electric red has a hex code of around #E60101, and has its RGB values as follows; red 230, green 1, blue 1. CMY cyan 3 magenta 100 yellow 100.

Scarlet is one of the most well known reds. It has a great many symbolic associations in the western world. What makes this brighter than most is the inclusion of green into the mix. Its hex is #FF2500, and the RGB values 255 37 0. CMY cyan 0 magenta 95 yellow 100.

Candy apple is also a worthy contender for the brightest red. Hex #FF0800, RGB 255 8 0. CMY cyan 0 magenta 99 yellow 100.

Another contender for the brightest red is #FF0F00, with the RGB values of red 255, green 15, and blue 0. After some experimenting with the values, I found this to be about as bright as you can get. A small amount of green brightens the red. However, too much green will start to turn it orange. This is the red that I will be using for the color palettes below. CMY cyan 0 magenta 98 yellow 100.

Complementary colors are those that are at opposite sides of the wheel. In this case, the complementary color of red is cyan. Complementary colors are often used for their striking and attention-getting ability.

Triadic

Brightest red triadic colors.

Triadic colors are those that are related or connected to one another in some way. These colors are also evenly spread out. For example, the primary colors on the RGB or RYB color wheels. However, as we are talking about the brightest red, the RGB additive colors of light are the best example.
